  • YouthWorks Paid Internships: The Mayor’s Youth Employment & Education Program (MYEEP) provides job readiness training and places 9th-10th graders in a paid summer job. SF YouthWorks is a program that exposes rising 11th-12th graders and graduating seniors to jobs in the public sector. Learn more at www.jcycworkhub.org

  • AAMPLIFY Social Justice Leadership Program: The AAMPLIFY program runs for two weeks in the summer and trains and supports Asian American, rising 9th-12th grade leaders. Learn more here

  • Free Leadership Camp: The Rotary Youth Leadership Academy (RYLA) invites high school students to apply for a free five-day residential camp in Santa Cruz over the summer that supports youth leadership and personal development and promotes positive youth mental health through friendships and camp fun.   • Exploring Leadership, Coro Northern California: Open to 9th, 10th, and 11th graders. Priority application deadline is December 20, 2024. Coro Northern California's Exploring Leadership (EL) Youth Program is a 6-week summer program in San Francisco for high school students to develop leadership skills and explore civic engagement and career pathways.   • Oasis for Girls. Looking for a space where you can grow, build sisterhood, and plan for your future? Oasis for Girls has 3 programs including CREATE: Arts & Activism, RISE: Life Development (Social Justice, Wellness, Leadersehip) and ENVISION: Career Exploration. Participants are paid a stipend and can do each program one time. In Fall and Spring, the program runs Tues, Wed, Thurs 4:30-6:30 and over the summer from 2-6pm at their office at 7th/Mission near the Civic Center BART/MUNI stop Apply at www.oasisforgirls.org/apply.  Applications for Fall cycle are typically due in early September, Summer is due in early June, and Spring is due in January. @oasisforgirls
